Radiofrequency Sublime Sublative Skin Care Treatment with Syneron E-2

Skin Care for Contouring & Improving Skin Tone & Texture

Comfortably reverse the signs of aging and achieve a more youthful appearance without downtime with Sublime treatments E-2. This is first and only technology that uses combined energies to effectively stimulate collagen production and improve your overall skin quality in areas that are most telling when it comes to age, such as the eye, brow lines, cheeks and around the neck.

How does Sublime™ work?

The combined bi-polar radiofrequency and light energies of the elos technology precisely heat the dermal tissue, stimulating collagen production within the target treatment area. Fine wrinkles are reduced; facial contours improved and overall skin quality reveals a much smoother and even complexion.

How does Sublative™ work?

Radiofrequency energy is precisely directed into the skin in the form of a matrix. The Sublative™ applicator delivers bipolar radio frequency energy via a matrix of 64 electrodes in the disposable applicator tip. Healthy skin around the dots accelerates the healing process of the skin. Post treatment, new collagen and healthy skin cells are produced Striae and acne scars as well as mild to moderate wrinkles and superficial skin discoloration are reduced, and skin texture becomes more smooth and elastic.

Does it Hurt?

Sublime/Sublative is a gentle, comfortable treatment requiring no downtime. During treatment, many patients feel a warm prickly sensation as energy enters their skin. Cooling of the skins surface provides enhanced safety and additional comfort.

What are Striae Distensae?

Striae or stretch marks are areas of skin that look like bands, stripes, or lines. They first appear as reddish or purple lines, but tend to gradually fade to a lighter range. Striae are always initiated by stretch whether the stretch is excessive or minimal; spontaneous striae do not occur. Striae may result from a number of causes, including, but not limited to, rapid changes in weight, adolescent growth spurts, corticosteroid use or Cushing Syndrome, and generally appear on the buttocks, thighs, knees, calves or lumbosacral areas. In addition, approximately 90% of all pregnant women develop stretch marks either on their breasts and/or abdomen by the third trimester.

How does Sublative™ treat Striae?

Sublative technology is neither laser nor light based. Instead, this one-of-a-kind technology uses fractionated bi-polar radiofrequency directed to the skin in the form of a matrix. This fractional delivery of RF energy causes micro-epidermal ablative injuries with wider spread dermal coagulation. This initiates a strong wound healing response in the dermal matrix while also minimizing the damage to the epidermis. Less affected tissue surrounding the matrix points may be stimulated by heat which helps accelerate the healing process, leading to a smoother, more elastic appearance of the skin. Striae are reduced and less pronounced, and discoloration is reduced.

Is there any downtime following treatment?

The patients may continue with their daily routine immediately after treatment; however the area will show small red dots that will gradually fade in 2-4 weeks. The patient should use a high-factor sunscreen (at least 30 SPF) and protect the treated area from sunlight during the entire course of treatment and for at least one month after.

When can patients expect to see results?

Post treatment, they may notice tone and texture improvements as a result of increased levels of beneficial collagen and new healthy skin cells which are produced. Typical treatment protocol is 3 treatments, 4 – 6 weeks apart. The total number of required treatment sessions depends on the skin condition of the patient.
