Treating Chronic Tendon Pain at the Source

Tenotomy enables an ultrasound guided treatment to target the source of chronic tendon pain. This new technology needle is specifically engineered to deliver a controlled supersonic stream of saline that differentiates between diseased and healthy tendons.

The TENOTOMY procedure cures chronic tendinitis and bursitis. This revolutionary treatment utilizes a physical needle stimulation which breaks down adhesions, scar tissue and calcifications. At the same time, it uses normal saline perfusion to wash out and remove broken tissue and debris from the tendons and joints. This precise mechanical “cleaning” and solution “suction fluid vacuuming” technique targets and eliminates the source of chronic tendon and joint pain. Tenotomy is an outpatient procedure. It is performed under a local anesthetic and takes approximately 15 minutes.

Will I feel any pain during the procedure?

At the beginning of the procedure, you may feel some discomfort when the local anesthetic is administered. After your treatment, you may feel some soreness in the treated area that can be relieved with over-the-counter medications.

How long will my recovery take?

On average, you should experience pain relief within three months of treatment. Individual results may vary.
